Flick Park Pool Water Spray, Glenview

Infomation

As one of the play features at Roosevelt Aquatic Park's water park in Glenview, USA, the Flick Park pool is a fun spot for children who like playing with water guns and water sprays. The pool's design creates a lively underwater game environment for children and parents. This project was also designed, manufactured and installed by architect Williams of Carol Stream, IL, the Glenview Park District, and the company.

The play set has a pole-mounted sound system that gives specific instructions, and children can aim and shoot at targets with water guns mounted on stands around the pool. A battle then breaks out between the two sides of the pool, or two front lines. Children get feedback in two ways: by sound or by LED lights. The winner can celebrate, and the loser takes fire from all sides.

This game creates many challenges, building competition and teamwork skills in children. A trip to the pool becomes more than exercise: it is a truly entertaining and relaxing outing.
